Background:
Per her marriage record to Franz Dolinsek on 13 Feb 1889: Josefa was 28 years old, from Bistričica House 8, was never married before, and belonged to the Roman Catholic Church in Stranje Parish. Her parents are listed as Franz Čevka and Maria Prelesnik.
The age listed at the time of her marriage provided a general time frame for her birth; if she was 28 in 1889, she would have been born around 1861.
Since the information provided for Josefa’s location was consistently listed as Bistričica prior to 1889, there was cause to suspect that she might have been born there and/or that Stranje had been her family’s parish church as well.
There is an indexed entry for Josefa Čevka, born 15 Feb 1861 to Franz Zhevka and Maria Prelesnik
After locating the indexed entry, I looked up her baptismal record and found: Josefa Čevka, born 15 Feb 1861 to Franz Čevka and Maria Prelesnik:
In the Baptismal Index, I noted a few other potential siblings with the surname Čevka also born at Bistričica House 8. It was possible to look up the baptismal records of these individuals and establish a sibling relationship!

Further Research
It unknown whether or not this line of the family can be traced back further, as the handwritten pen and ink records grow harder to read- and not all at extant- but time will tell as research continues on the siblings of Josefa, as well as her parents, Franz Čevka/Zhevka and Maria Prelesnik from Bistričica House 8, Stranje Parish! The next thing to explore is the area in which they lived in Slovenia, especially during the corresponding time frame as these individuals. Further posts will explore the location, historical significance, and Roman Catholic church located in Zagorica nad Kamnikom, where the Stranje parishioners/ancestors attended.
